Job Summary:

Use business knowledge and technical expertise to provide data management services across the enterprise. Specifically, to take ownership and lead on aspects of Data Quality (design, execution, exception management, issues management, reporting and dashboards, remediation management, stakeholder management). Will also contribute to Data Governance as required

In this job, I am accountable for:

Delivering services and outcomes associated with defining, maintaining, overseeing and monitoring processes and standards related to:

  • Design of DQ solutions o Implementation of DQ solutions
  • Business as Usual running of DQ solutions and DQ Management o Assessment of DQ exceptions
  • Identification and documentation of DQ issues
  • Ownership and management of the DQ issues log
  • Timely and complete execution of the DQ Issues Management framework
  • Development of appropriate DQ dashboards and reports for various stakeholders
  • Oversight and maintenance of the remediation activities associated with closing DQ issues
  • Support for root cause analysis
  • Agreeing and defining roles and responsibilities for the day to day operation of DQ management
  • Support the delivery of services to assist the enterprise reduce Data Quality Risk
  • Contribute to the Business As Usual operations of the team as required
  • Appropriate review and enhancement for procedures and standards for Data Quality
  • Contribute to the day to day risk management activities for the Data Management team e.g. monthly reporting, emerging risk identification, risk log maintenance
  • Contribute to Data Governance activities as required
  • Supporting the EDS “Front Door” to ensure work requests are responded to in a timely and complete manner
  • Guidance of Data Management Analysts in the delivery of Data Quality services
  • Support the Head of Data Management in promoting and enhancing Data Management Services for the Bank
  • Seeking continual improvement of Data Management team best practise and ways of working

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Retail Banking experience
  • Data Management and Governance processes & technology, BCBS239 an advantage Data profiling, modelling, mining, analysis & management
  • Data Management/Governance Frameworks Agile methodology
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Business process design
