We work with schemes and other key industry players to ensure our customers have secure, accessible and easy to use payments offerings. You’ll be helping bring banking solutions into the beating heart of retail with your strong experience of payments systems, schemes and regulations.


Delivering high quality Business outcomes through effective planning, directing and co-ordination of activities across own projects. Building and leading an empowered, cohesive team and developing lasting customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Managing and delivering projects in line with Bank methodologies. Using appropriate toolsets, ensuring required governance is followed and that budgets and KPIs are met. Suggesting improvements to processes and controls.
  • Tracking, reporting and management of budgets, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies - escalating as required.
  • Using industry knowledge and best practice to continuously improve processes and procedures - shaping, building and embedding improvements to ensure delivery of the best possible customer outcomes.
  • Producing, analysing and reviewing high quality, relevant, understandable and accurate reports and management information to support decision making.
  • Managing and coaching others (directly or indirectly) to ensure they have the skills and support required to deliver quality outputs in a timely manner.
  • Representing your team in Change and bank-wide meetings as required.
  • Play a key role in converting strategy into action.
  • Managing and holding accountable/ getting value for money and quality service from third party suppliers.
  • Identifying, suggesting and driving changes which support WMTY and making Change “Simpler, Faster, Safer” - enhancing our service to customers.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Technical skills or tools specific to your role
  • Significant project and/ or change management experience
  • Experience of working in financial services is desirable
  • Experience of payments systems and regulation (preferred)
  • Line management experience
  • Strong coaching and mentoring background
