The Role

We are recruiting a Service Operations Manager for IT Service Continuity. This role will sit within our IT Operations team.

You will be responsible for:

  • You will own the Non-functional requirements for Service Continuity Management
  • You will co-ordinate the annual Resiliency exercises for each of the Business functions within Tesco Bank
  • You will ensure that the process controls for Backup and Recovery are co-ordinate for all critical services on a rolling period
  • You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for Projects and Programmes on IT resiliency providing guidance and best practise
  • You will provide guidance and support to our Supplier Managers on reviews of suppliers and 3rd parties
  • You will identify and own the Controls, Risks, and Actions associated with ITSC
  • You support our platforms Technical and Strategic progress

  • Experience of Service Continuity and IT resiliency
  • An understanding of common technologies used in regulated financial services
  • Project or Programme Management experience
  • Lead and influence people to drive improvements and deliver results.
  • You will help in shaping the overall vision and strategy for ITSC
  • Establish a culture of innovation and strategic thinking that translates big picture strategics opportunities into practical objectives
