We're based across head office in Haymarket Yards and an additional office in the Gyle, Edinburgh. Headed up by our Legal Director, the Legal Team is made up of a number of sub teams which deal with company secretariat matters, banking products and consumer credit work, insurance, contracts and mortgages. We get involved in everything from drafting terms and conditions to signing off marketing materials and negotiating and securing contracts for our business.

The Commercial team for banking is based in Haymarket Yards in the centre of Edinburgh. Our job is to really put retail into banking, to be different to the traditional retail banks, to build great banking products for our customers that are easy to understand and offer fantastic value.
On a daily basis we work with colleagues from across the business in operations, marketing, research, risk, legal and finance, as well as our third party suppliers, to continually improve our understanding of customers to create better products. We also work with colleagues in stores and across the group to deliver a range of services to customers, including gift cards and travel money.
Ultimately we are responsible for the financial performance of the banking business so we are always interested to meet talented and professional individuals who share our focus on customers who have strong analytical and commercial skills and who believe in creating great outcomes for our customers.

The General Insurance (GI) commercial team is based in Haymarket Yards in the centre of Edinburgh and our priority is to earn our customers’ lifetime loyalty by really understanding what they want and expect from us. By doing this we can deliver the right insurance products and claims services at the right time.
No two days are the same in GI and we work with a wide group of internal and external teams to ensure we consistently deliver for our customers.
